As not all our work relate directly to short term dealmaking, and market conditions were challenging last year, we delivered quite some work in:
- strategy consulting to companies that consider a sale
- advising and counseling of those who have given us sale mandates
- searches of suitable candidates for our anchor clients that look for value increase at a longer term
- post acquisition work ref settlement of earn-out targets, or claims mediation
- corporate finance activities for various clients advising and finding adequate acquisition financing, working capital and trade financing facilities.
Valuations
Before entering into a sale process and/or divestment separate valuations are required depending the situation. We executed various of them over the last years under sometimes difficult and complicated circumstances.
Sale and divestments
CIC worked on and executed several sale mandates of Benelux ICT companies both small and midsize (1 - 50 mln Euro yearly turnover) offering Consultancy and/or software services and/or software products. We also succeeded in assisting on divesting programs of bigger internationally operating ICT companies. (Potential) buyers were found in the Benelux but also in Italy, Scandinavia, Germany, France, the UK and Spain.
